In Person Presentation Training

Stand & Deliver: Present Your Ideas With Confidence, Clarity and Conviction

In person presentation training will always be crucial. And with companies back in the workplace part time or full time, your ability to inform, influence, entertain and motivate will be a key driver to your success.

“Stand & Deliver,” our signature in person presentation training, is the core program that put GrahamComm on the map 25 years ago. Used by Samsung, Microsoft, PayPal, eBay, Cisco and other leading companies, it is your secret weapon in learning to own any room and mastering presentation skills.

Our In-Person Presentation Skills Training Methodology
We use a proven methodology of learning, practice, video review, feedback and in-the-moment coaching. This helps learners increase their awareness of how they show up, allowing them to leverage their strengths and focus on their development opportunities. We generally see dramatic improvement, even in our one-day courses. But the real learning comes after the training; in meetings, pitches, presentations and client interactions. Our approach ensures engagement, growth and yes, lots of smiles and laughs.

Learn to:

  • Improve your ability to inform, influence and lead

  • Manage your fears and anxiety around presenting

  • Convey complex and technical information clearly and succinctly

  • Project confidence and preparedness

  • Read and personally connect with any audience

  • Use “Pattern Disruptions” (stories, humor, interaction…) to increase attention and engagement

  • Leverage slides as a valued visual aid, not a crutch or distraction

  • Master the use of body language, voice and eye contact

  • Skillfully lead Q&A sessions

  • Convey a sense of calm confidence when presenting

  • And yes, actually enjoy presenting!

This workshop includes:

  • Interactive classroom work, multiple practice sessions, discussions and feedback

  • Workbooks, worksheets and reusable templates

  • Videos of all practice sessions

  • “In-the-moment” coaching

  • Small group size for maximum individual attention

Workshop Logistics: What We Need From You
To ensure a successful on-site session, we typically require:

  • A large screen and projection system for slides

  • A whiteboard or flip chart

  • Sufficient space for participants to stand, present and move around the room

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For a quarter-century, we have been the "secret weapon" for some of the top companies (like Facebook, Samsung, PayPal, SRI International and eBay) and startups in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley. We don't just teach theory—we transform behaviors. Our longevity comes from building trust and getting results. Clients bring us back year after year because they see a tangible difference in their teams immediately. AND, people really enjoy the programs!

  • The ideal participant is any professional—from new hire to senior management—who needs to influence others and drive results through communication. While our coaching programs focus on helping high-stakes presenters like founders and directors, our training programs are equally effective for subject-matter experts, individual contributors, engineers, and sales teams who want to go beyond simply "sharing data" to truly "owning the room."

  • Yes. We measure success through observed behavioral changes and "Quick Wins." Outcomes include a quantifiable reduction in filler words (ums/ahs), increased eye contact and physical presence, and the ability to deliver clear, concise messages under pressure. Long-term, clients report more efficient meetings, higher close rates in sales, more successful funding rounds, and improved internal team alignment.

  • Participants frequently describe GrahamComm’s presentation training as a "career-defining" experience. Reviews from clients at companies like eBay, Microsoft, and Facebook consistently highlight their ability to create a "safe but challenging" environment where even the most anxious speakers find their confidence. A common sentiment is that the training is "practical, immediate, and incredibly fun."

  • We maintain motivation by adhering to our "Make it Fun" principle. We replace boring lectures with high-energy interaction, storytelling, candid feedback by facilitators and peers, and supportive coaching. By focusing on immediate progress, we create a positive feedback loop that keeps energy levels high throughout the entire session. Participants often say that time “flew by” and that it was some of the best–often THE best–training of their careers.

  • We use a "Behavior-Based Learning" approach. Instead of overwhelming you with abstract rules, we focus on changing specific physical and verbal behaviors. By using video feedback (everyone’s favorite) and repetitive practice in a safe environment, we help you build muscle memory. This ensures the skills stick long after the workshop ends. And, every program ends with each person creating an Action List with the top 3 skills or behaviors for them to work on going forward. This makes it both simple and actionable.

  • We believe that if you aren't having fun, you aren't learning. Our workshops are high-energy, interactive, and laugh-out-loud funny. We adhere to the "Make it Fun" principle—avoiding "death by PowerPoint" in favor of active coaching, storytelling, and supportive group dynamics. Many people add that this is the only time they have gotten candid feedback on their communication or presentation skills.

  • Which version you choose depends on logistics as well as what people need the most help with. In-person training is the best way to master physical presence—eye contact, body language, gestures, movement and reading the room. It also builds stronger team cohesion as colleagues practice and support each other face-to-face.

  • For our signature "Stand & Deliver" workshops, we recommend a cap of 10-12 participants. This ensures the optimal learning experience with maximum practice and minimal downtime. That said, we can customize any program in terms of group size, duration of the course and what skills we focus on. We pride ourselves on being easy to work with and delivering the best program for each client’s specific needs.

  • Yes. We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area but frequently travel to client offices across the US and internationally.
